The intrepid pilot and his passenger had braved the notorious rains and typical Spa weather to join us at the Belgian Grand Prix. Anyone who drives 350 miles across the continent without wet weather gear must be a true enthusiast! From that first day I laid eyes on that amazing concept that is the Lotus 340R, I knew I had to have one. And soon! I'm still looking for one.

Had to sell my fantastic Esprit sport 300 I owned before, ´cause the 340R was not only more fun, it was irresistible. The most unnecessary thing on this car is a test drive. If you have race fuel in the blood and the chance to get the money together, you´ll buy it anyway.
